I will be the first to admit, I am horrible at writing and keeping up with my own blog, but my latest car experience is one I just had to share.
Recently I accompanied Post Oak Motor Cars to Dubrovnik Croatia for Rimac's first Dealer & Client Conference. Rimac Houston will be joining the Post Oak brand and this was the first opportunity to discover Rimac's first production car, the new Nevera.
With almost 2,000 hp, this hypercar will take you from 0-60 in 1.85 seconds. I had the opportunity to get behind the wheel myself and experience what this car could do. First off, let's just say, I am still getting use to electric cars and not having any sound....I am a sound girl...I love the sound of an engine, but guess I am old fashioned like that.
The Nevera is extremely easy to drive, but a bit unnerving as you don't realize how fast and quickly you are going before you look down and realize you are over a 100mph curving around a small 2 way road on the side of a cliff.
Rimac did an amazing job with the handling of the new Never. The car is solid and I never felt as if I would loose control of the car. I took corners with ease and overall was a car that I felt you could enjoy at the weekend track car or enjoy as a daily driver. Once you get use to everything, the interior is laid out well and is loaded with so much technology. There is even cameras installed so that you can at any time record your driving experience.
With only 150 units to be made with a starting msrp of $2.4 million. You will be able to visit your local Rimac dealer and configure your Nevera, with a choice of several inspirations already created by the designers at Rimac, or you can go totally bespoke and choose from a large selection of various paints, leathers, carbon fiber and liveries. At this price point, such as with the Bugatti Chiron, the fun is to design your new Nevera in Croatia with Mate Rimac himself and create your original masterpiece.
